The first thing I did when I got back to school on Saturday was unpack all of my new clothes and winter accessories. I don’t have many scarves (just these six and one more) but I vow to give them a little more love this year. I hung up my array of tights as well: the traditional black, brown, white and grey…with a few fancy colored ones of hunter green, navy, marron and hot pink. Hopefully I won’t be too afraid to break those out as well.
I was also considering over break what was missing my closet. I honestly wear the same pair of skinny jeans almost every day. To make up for that, I bought some black jeggings, a new pair of skinny jeans and another pair of pants for every outfits. I also tried to think of what I admired most about my favorite bloggers. I love seeing how others use their shoes as a statement piece. Most of mine are neutral colors that I can wear with everything. I definitely needed a pair of black flats, but what I love most about these is they really sum up what I claim as my style: “classic with an edge.” Bows and studs? Cant get much better than that. But I also convinced my mom to buy me these olive wedges. They are still pretty neutral, but I think the pattern is a little something extra?

I only bought a few things in New York and not much while I was home, but I’m very excited about them! Can’t wait to play in my closet a little more (and take lots of pretty pictures on my new camera!)
